We work for children to create wakwak future!!

Thank you!!

Thank you for accessing our page.

We are the organization based in Japan and online to work in education field.

In this page, we will show you what we are doing and also will do.

Please let me take your 5 mins to know much about us.

Tanzanian students are wearing Japanese traditional dresses, “Yukata”.

What is “wakwak”?

“Wakwak” is a Japanese word, which means the emotion like being exited, amazed, or interested!!

When people

  • encounter a different world such as a new experience,
  • know or learn something in which we are interested,
  • find similarities and differences between our culture and others,

we likely feel something like a so excited emotion!!!

We, “Wakwak for Everyone” was founded by two educationist* from Japan to offer such “wakwak” experiences for everyone, especially children and youth.
*We have experiences of working in educational field in Japan, Costa Rica, Tanzania and Papua New Guinea.

Children in Papua New Guinea are enjoying learning calligraphy of Japanese

We work for children to create wakwak future.

Child is a full potential creature

Activities

Our activity is based on “wakwak”, mainly in the educational field.

We offer the opportunities for children and youths to get interest in the world such as

  • Helping school education, non-formal education in the particular countries.
  • Online Kids events to interact with locals and know different cultures.
  • Interactive class between classrooms in Japan and different countries.
  • Social media contents to learn something wakwak about different cultures.
  • Study tour to visit other countries such as countries in Africa, Central America, Pacific.
  • Educational project using the local products such as traditional cloth, coffee, etc.

Our Future Plan in PNG

We plan to be based in PNG(Papua New Guinea) in the future in order to discover and offer more wakwak .

We plan 3 different projects there.

Non-formal Education Project

As well as school education(formal education), non-formal education can help children find and achieve their dreams.

  • Through experiment in a science class, a student obtain the dream to be a scientist.
  • Through playing in a football game, a youth obtain the dream to be a football player.
  • Through enjoying dance or singing, a child obtain the dream to be a scientist.

Without experiences, we cannot be interested in something.

This YouTube below is the music clip which we produced with children in PNG.

One of the students singing in this video is now working as a rapper.

I received a message from the student a few years after this project.

“Hi, it’s me, xxxxxx(name of the student).
Do you remember me, one of your student in Kalamanagunan Primary School.
Thank you that you’ve started me so well, now I grew up creating my own songs too.”

Children can show their abilities if they have chances to find their gift.

They cannot want to be a soccer player if they have never played soccer.

Wakwak House Project

To offer such a “non-formal education” we will have a attractive facility for kids.

We will call it “Wakwak House”.

Children can visit here after their school or weekends or holidays.

And then, they can be absorbed with what they want to try or enjoy with others.

The facility will offer the study tour to youth and foreigners to visit us.

The visitors will be the teachers of what they like so that the children can learn something new.

Coming across such new experiences help children discover their interests and gifts.

Kamishibai Project

Kamishibai is a Japanese word, meaning a kind of “Big Picture Book” ,especially for Children.

  • Books can teach us to something important from their story.
  • Books can bring us different world where we have never been.
  • Books can encourage us when we are sad or lonely.

We obtain a lot of things from thousands of books in any moments.

However, most of the children in PNG cannot have opportunity to reach library, and even books.

We have produced Kamishibai for learning as educational contents of which topic is such as environment, theft, health, classroom manner, gender and so on,

And we visited schools and villages to read to children as well as parents and teachers.
